In this talk, he explains the interesting results they found.
Patrick Pollock is Professor of Veterinary Surgery and Remote and Rural Medicine at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. After graduating from the University of Glasgow, Patrick worked in mixed practice in Scotland before undertaking specialist training in surgery in Ireland. He is a European and Royal college of Veterinary Surgeons Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Surgery and has worked in private and academic practice across Europe and beyond. Patrick has an interest in remote and resource limited veterinary medicine and works with some of the worlds 150 million working horses, donkeys and mules setting up training programs for vets and animal owners in low- and middle-income countries. A keen beekeeper, kayaker, runner and piper, Patrick lives with his family near Biggar.
